PMG to Speak on Tech and Innovation at Longhorn PHP Conference

On November 3-5, Longhorn PHP, the largest PHP-focused technology conference in the U.S., will take place in Austin, Texas, and PMG will be among the roster of experts speaking at the event.

PMG’s Jorge Gonzalez and Nicole Gibson will be giving a much-anticipated talk titled, “Make The (Big) Change Easy, Make The Easy Change,” which addresses large-scale refactoring, the challenges, and opportunities of going from a monolithic application to a distributed system, and practical advice for developers as they introduce changes in their own systems in a way that maintains functionalities while also paving the way for easy implementation of new changes, both large and small. Among the examples the pair will cover includes how PMG engineers approached the challenge that involved millions of ad creative images, with tens of thousands ingested and processed on a daily basis.
