PMG Named Among the 2022 Best Workplaces for Parents™
With PMG since 2012, David Gong has led marketing initiatives at PMG, drawing on his past experience at agencies, publishers, and industry partners.
Great Place To Work® has again honored PMG, naming us among the 2022 Best Workplaces for Parents™ among medium-sized businesses.
To determine the top 100 companies, Great Place To Work® analyzed survey responses of over 568,000 parents who work for Great Place to Work-Certified™ companies and employ at least 50 parents. In the survey, 97 percent of PMG’s employees said the company is a great place to work.
Making the list reflects not only the strength of PMG’s programs for parents but also how fairly parents report being treated at PMG. In feedback shared in the Great Place to Work® survey, one PMG employee said, “When PMG leadership found out I was becoming a foster parent, they enacted foster care parental leave immediately and still are the only company I have heard of to have such a benefit. [It’s] just one example, but [the] underlying understanding that PMG as a business has that in order for us to be successful, the people have to be seen and supported is one that permeates our culture. Leadership is always looking for opportunities to serve and support employees in above and beyond ways.”
In addition to adding fertility and adoption benefits in 2022, PMG further expanded parental leave for all parents, including adoptive and foster parents. When they’re on leave, we turn off Slack and email so they are free to focus on what is important. PMG also supports working parents at the company through a dedicated employee resource group and recently sponsored a ‘Day at the Zoo’ event for PMG families globally.
“Congratulations to Great Place to Work’s Best Workplaces for Parents,” said Michael C. Bush, CEO of Great Place to Work, in a statement. “As employees juggled work, eldercare, and parenting demands, these companies listened to the needs of working parents and developed innovative ways to support them. They took action to provide relief so their workforce didn’t have to choose between their jobs and their families.”
